HTML/ DHTML/ XML
‘HTML’ in VISION includes an encoding scheme used to create and format a web document.It is used to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists etc as well as for links, quotes, and other items. It allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms.
‘DHTML’ in VISION includes a collection of technologies used together to create interactive and animated web sites by using a combination of a static markup language, a client-side scripting language (such as JavaScript), a presentation definition language (such as CSS), and the Document Object Model.
‘XML’ in VISION includes a set of rules for encoding documents electronically. XML’s design goals emphasize simplicity, generality, and usability over the Internet. It is a textual data format, with strong support via Unicode for the languages of the world.
MS FrontPage
‘FrontPage’ in VISION offers training on WYSIWYG editor that is very easy to use and also allows you access to the HTML code in another window so you can make changes to your code if you want to. It also has a preview feature so you can see what your page looks like on Netscape with each new keystroke. You can edit a web page (HTML file) in FrontPage 2000 without creating a web in which to store it.
